Signal Private Messenger is a messaging platform that can be used on iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and Mac or PC.
Signal began to surge in 2021 as one of the most secure and private messaging apps.
You can send one on one text messages, group messages, voice notes, images, and videos.
You can also video chat within the signal apps. Group calls support up to 5 people at the time of this writing but may expand in the future.
Signal uses end-to-end encryption is it is very secure for messaging.
It’s also a free and open-source platform.
You do need a phone number to sign up for the signal since it uses SMS to verify your account.
In this video, I’ll show you how to send text messages, pictures, record and send videos with Signal, how to send disappearing messages, and how to interact with messages.
I’ll also cover video calls and voice calls within the app.
